Singh’s workshop revolved around the notion of dramatic conflict. The artist has gained much knowledge of this subject over the past few years and shared this with beginning artists during this workshop.

In preparation for the workshop, participants asked to outline a self-written short story with a dramatic arc or conflict. This text was written in English and, if possible, be brought to the workshop on a laptop.

The first part of the workshop devoted to analyzing various sources in which dramatic conflict occured. Following this, students were challenged to write their own stories using their previously conceived outlines. Singh then offered each student individual feedback, and there was time to rewrite the stories accordingly.
