Rupert Norfolk

Rupert Norfolk (b. 1974, the United Kingdom) is an artist living and working in London. He graduated with Bachelor of Fine Arts from Chelsea School of Art and Design (1996). His work involves investigations into the perceptual and conceptual possibilities of concrete and depicted things. Norfolk was Maker-in-Residence at Wysing Arts Centre, Bourn (2013). He has exhibited at Stella Lohaus, Antwerp (2008), Dicksmith Gallery, London (2005 & 2007) and participated in group exhibitions such as: Novecento mai visto, Museo di Santa Giulia, Brescia (2013); Lustwarande, Fundament Foundation, Tilburg (2011); Secret Societies, Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt (2011); Big Minis, CAPC – Museum of Contemporary Art, Bordeaux (2010); Newspeak: British Art Now, Saatchi Gallery, London (2010).
