Jarmal Martis is a photographer and UX Designer based in Rotterdam. Due to his roots in Curaçao and later move to the Netherlands, he has gained an appreciation for marginalized people and cultures. In his work, Jarmal focuses primarily on people who have no voice and influence within society. With his photography, he tries to offer perspective on their lives, the spaces they inhabit and the external influences that are being exerted on them.
