Fareed Armaly (Iowa, USA, 1957) is an American artist, living and working in Germany since 1989. His projects range from journals on music and culture (Terminal Zone, R.O.O.M. 1987-89), the exhibition projects Parts (1998, Kunstverein Munich) and Program, a public-art TV project. In 1999 – 2002 he was the artistic director of Kunstlerhaus Stuttgart.
