Falke Pisano

Falke Pisano’s (b. Amsterdam, 1978) diagrammatic works expose a loop, in which shifting abstract sculptural forms are conceived directly in relation to written and spoken language, implying an ongoing and morphing production of meaning. Her works focus on modernity conceived as a long process in continual transformation, determined by the life experiences from which it is viewed, the succession of artistic objects over time and the transformation of structures of communication and perception. Previous exhibition of her work include The Body in Crisis, De Vleeshal (Middelburg, 2012); Performing Abstraction, Luciana Brito Gallery, Sao Paulo (2012), Abstract Possible, Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm (2012), Desert Solitaire, Benoît Maire & Falke Pisano, CAC, Vilnius (2011), 7 little mistakes, Museo Marino Marini, Florence (2010), Ein Performanceprojekt, KUB Arena/Kunsthaus Bregenz (2010); Falke Pisano/Ana Roldan, Dynamo, Kunsthaus Glarus (2010); Falke Pisano (Conditions of Agency), Extra City (2010).
