The theme of Open Monumentndag 2019 is Places of pleasure: to which monumental places did people go and go for pleasure? Whether it is the theater, the zoo, the museum, a park, a sports club or a café, the country is bursting with monuments of relaxation, entertainment and leisure. Within those monuments we distinguish five categories: museum arts, performing arts, sports and games, hospitality and recreation. The entertainment value of monuments is central this year.
