This week the Freud Museum London celebrates its 30th anniversary and the 160th anniversary of the birth of Sigmund Freud with a special exhibition with Mark Wallinger, curated by Witte de With’s curator Natasha Hoare.
The artist has created a transformative work for Freud’s study and a permanent sculpture to be situated in the Museum garden. These new works provide a stimulating and thoughtful encounter with the Museum’s collections and the work of Freud himself. The exhibition is part of the Freud Museum’s programme of commissioning contemporary art exhibitions with lasting intellectual value.
