Instituto Cervantes

Founded in 1991 in Spain, the Instituto Cervantes is a public institution that is thought to teach the Spanish language and to promote the culture of Spain and Spanish speaking countries of Latin America. The insitute’s headquarters are situated in Spain: Madrid and in Alcalá de Henares, the birthplace of the writer Miguel de Cervantes. Meanwhile there are centers of the Instituto Cervantes on all continents.
